Was this at a gas station? Motor oil shed? I did see the cat once I embiggened the photo...looks like it had all of your photography it wanted and headed home! :)
Hi Lowell and Wayne, the oil shed holds oil on a farm for machinery. There is motor oil, gear oil, grease, hydraulic oil, and other oils used commonly in farm machinery. Safer to keep it out of other buildings.
I like the shape of the shed, nice shadows, too.
ReplyDeleteDid you see the cat in the top picture?
DeleteI do now, cool!

ReplyDeleteLove your B&W composition!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of an oil shed, none the less, I like the monochrome clapboards and that cool door latch!

Great shape and patina. Took a minute to find the Waldo-cat.
ReplyDeleteThat cat had no interest in posing. Think it was off to hunt a mouse.
DeleteI love that little shed, great photo
ReplyDeleteLove the hut, and the detail of the door is great.
