St. Pauli Girl is also on the top shelf. Many of these beers are from small, craft breweries with a few imports thrown in. Suspect these boys are more into running than beer drinking, but they may discover the joys and pitfalls of beer consumption. I take it you are not a Beck's fan.
Eh, St. Pauli Girl? Aaah, "The beer is only produced for export and is not sold in Germany." says the English wikipedia while the German wikipedia adds that since November 2010 it is sold at selected gas stations in Northern Germany. It's Beck's, too. No, I don't like Beck's. Too hoppy (=bitter) :-)
Is there a relationship here? Running out for a beer?
ReplyDeleteNo necessary relationship intended, but somehow they do seem to pair well.
DeleteOf course they pair well. I always have a beer or two after my Wednesday night kitchen pass run.
ReplyDeleteHow to avoid a beer belly: run a marathon ... ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe only German brand I can find in the photo is Beck's - nothing seems to have changed in the last decades. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, Beck's :-(
