Classic photos. There was a bison ranch down the road from me here in CT. For some reason, the bison seem much more at home in SD than here. I've enjoyed all your photos from SD this week. Keep up the good work.
never seen bisons other than in movies or picslove the shots
These are BIG guys. Once in Yellowstone, a herd emerged from the woods and ran past my car, on both sides. It was both thrilling and scary.
They are larger than cattle, but archeology shows they use to be much larger, truly scary. Bison are unpredictable, and may charge people.
Lovely photos.
Thank you.
Bison are beautiful. No doubt about it. :)
I do love the way bison look out on open land. It seems right. I love your profile, by the way - good for you, enjoying life! Have a nice weekend.
I agree with Karen, bison look out of place behind a fence, they belong on the open prairie where they came from.
Karen and Gracie if you like buffalo photos stay tuned this weekend for more. I have two more days of bison to come. Thank you for your comments.
They are such beautiful All-American icons. Thank you for sharing.
