a real original self made milepost
Good thing I'm not 'huntin' for a tire this morning.
Raw, simple, but eye-catching!
I wondering what you would hunt there, jackrabbits? My regular blogs have been deactivated. I'm posting at L & L Photography here: http://landlfotos.com/blog
It doesn't look like much of a hunting ground. But the tire at least has a purpose now.
Reuse & recycle! Good catch.
good use for an old tire.:pi wonder what kind of wildlife can be hunted here.Signs
I wonder if the sign maker ever gets tired:-)
No, they are more likely to tread lightly so as to not fall flat. ;-)
A number of you have asked what there is to hunt. There are two hunting seasons that bring hunters from all over the country. The pheasant season and the deer season. Local airports fill with private airplanes early in pheasant season, and half the luggage arriving in Sioux Falls airport consists of gun cases and dog boxes. Our deer population has swelled to the point that hunters have success filling their hunting licenses. but our roads are still dangerous to drive at dusk due to wandering deer.

Sorry.I was reading wrong here. So start all over.I see it is a sign. It explains very clear. We have hunting signs also but not like this.So a good take. Different I must say.
A rural sign, but the message is clear.
I like the originality!
Funny how here in Nebraska, a tire on a pole means "no hunting" whether there's anything painted on it or not. Great images. :)
