No tornado was close to us, but the weather the last few days has been wild. Woke last night to constant lightening and thunder with heavy rain and wind. Eight inches of rain this month! Canton, SD, south of Sioux Falls, had 8" in one day with flooding.
We've had those most afternoons for a month or more - when it gets hot in the day and the cool blowing over the gulf meets that heat, grab your hat 'cause it's gonna be one heck of a storm. It may only last an hour or so, but still...
I have a feeling it is going to look like this here any time now...
ReplyDeleteI hope you were far from the tornado that hit SD yesterday.

DeleteIt looked like that on Tuesday here!
ReplyDeleteI don't wish you flood, of course! but seen from the very hot place where I'm living, it sounds so refreshing !

ReplyDeleteIt looked like that a few days this week. I could have filled up a few rain barrels!
ReplyDeleteLooks just like that here TFG, but it IS winter :) What's happened to your summer then?
ReplyDeleteNice moody shot
ReplyDeleteSuch a hazy reflection shot. I like how ominous the sky looks.
ReplyDeleteGreat light reflection on the wet surface... it seems that the rain outside grew louder...
