  1. Cool shot. I think it's fun to watch a building go up from start to finish.

  2. Are all of those houses in the background also Habitat for Humanity structures? As you know, I think it's a great organization. Looks like a warm day!

And you're right about the "elusive stick snake."

    1. The house next door is Habitat house #53, and the one next to that, still under construction, is house #52. All three of these houses should be finished before Christmas. Habitat bought a piece of land next to the new grade school onto which we will build 17 houses, 11 now completed and 3 under construction. This and last week are the only hot days we have had. Headed into the mid-90s today. Thankful for AC.

  4. Thank you for the info. Building all those houses is quite fantastic! Not much fun working out in the hot sun, though. It's 93 here and I ain't leavin' the house! :)

    1. This week crews are starting at 7 am, and done by 1 pm. Just too hot to work out in the sun. Today is 94 degrees with 60% humidity and little breeze. Dangerous temperatures for a bunch of retired geezers.
