We seem to have robins year round here in central North Carolina but I still think of them as being heralds of spring. Thanks for sharing at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2023/03/gods-glory-all-around-us.html
Actually, some robins stay around here in CT all winter. The true harbingers of spring are the red wing blackbirds who migrate to Central America in the winter. In fact I saw one in January in Guatemala some years ago!
We've seen a few--- they're always welcome.
ReplyDeleteStanding proud in the snow!
ReplyDeleteHe's in the snow. Poor thing. There are a lot of them around here this week. It is so nice to hear them singing.
ReplyDeleteLooking good and very proud.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen them yet, but they're probably around.
