By the way--- No hills to speak of on the Seattle to Portland tracks. Some railroad-knowledgeable people have suggest that they were simply taking the extra locomotives to a specific place for maintenance. The 8 in front and the 3 in back going down the tracks with a 2 man crew!
thecontemplativecat here. Beautiful. We liked going to tractor equipment shows. Here in CA, there is always a parade in October at a tourist farm. Case is a good tractor, but my dad preferred John Deere (Illinois).
