Habitat House #60

  1. I wish I was able to work on a Habitat crew...I think what they do is such a wonderful thing. This home looks to be quite large. I posted my RED truck. I did not ask the man for the year or model but think I got year off license plate. Please take a look and let me know what you think. It is really RED. You are my guru on vintage cars. On, I wish I still had our old Packard. It was sold in ’79.

    1. It's easy. Just go to the Habitat office or job site, sign a release form, and go to work. Few skills required as the supervisor will show you the job and how to do it. You will become an expert at that one job. The more you volunteer, the more you will know about the building process. Beside, it is fun, and you get to meet great people.

  3. Definitely good work - and more than necessary unfortunately.

After the 2004 tsunami I was in a partnership with United Nations Habitat, and I learned a lot how they cooperated with the future owners of the new houses. An experience I will not forget
