    1. Yes, they are old "Sampsonite" style suitcases, wider at the bottom than top. Does anyone use these any more?

    2. Can't say I've seen too many of those on the baggage claim carousels lately. I think if I saw one at a second-hand store I might just buy it 'cause I like the way they look.

    And I guess this could be thought of as a ferris wheel rather than a carousel?
