    Excellent! They are all what we would consider 'vintage' suitcases, too. No nylon wheelie-bags.

      Yes, they are old "Sampsonite" style suitcases, wider at the bottom than top. Does anyone use these any more?

      Can't say I've seen too many of those on the baggage claim carousels lately. I think if I saw one at a second-hand store I might just buy it 'cause I like the way they look.

    That is very cool. I think I have one of those old Samsonite suitcases, but I haven't used it in decades.

    Does not instill confidence that my suitcase will show up at the end of my travels.

    And I guess this could be thought of as a ferris wheel rather than a carousel?
