This engine has been painted a number of times. It was originally a Burlington Northern engine. When BN sold the line in SD, it became a Dakota, Minnesota, and Eastern engine in blue and yellow. Now it is a RCPE engine in orange, black, and yellow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful engine! I love trains but unfortunately there are not many around here. The last one I took was called The City of New Orleans – it was nice and a bit slow at times, but the landscape was interesting from Memphis to New Orleans.
