I think, smart dog. It was a warm day and the dog was walking with his owner. The owner released it from the lease and the dog went straight into the water, but only for a minute, then followed his friend down the path.
I had a friend who had a Golden Retriever who couldn't swim. The dog almost drowned when he chased a stick into deep water. My friend couldn't swim either and was about to jump in after the struggling dog, but all turned out well. That was a dumb dog.
Smart dog?
ReplyDeleteStupid dog?
The jury is still out.

DeleteDogs are smart. No one has to teach them how to swim.
