Re your question: Oh, yes, lots of alligators in that river. Not advisable to swim in the area pictured. Of course, I've heard that alligators only eat once a month. The problem is one never knows when that "once a month" rolls around. :)
Winter is definitely NOT over. We are due here for lots more Sunday night. These are beautiful shot, but I think I am ready for spring...or maybe just skip spring and go directly to summer.

These photos were taken last week, but since then we have had warmer temps and melting. There is a chance of more snow in a few days.
