For the last several months I never thought this day would come when the snow from this winter would melt. The ground is still frozen down six to seven feet, so little of this melt water is seeping into the ground. It just runs off.
Spring makes its way slowly, at its pace not ours.ReplyDelete
Here , this first week-end of spring offers us a storm with wind and rain! Crazy!ReplyDelete
I wish it would warm up enough to rain. This morning it was 11 degrees, but it is sunny.Delete
6 to 7 feet frozen? Yikes! What's going to happen when all the snow melts and runs off into the rivers and lakes? You've got to be tough to live up there!ReplyDelete
It's the same thing here!ReplyDelete
Lowell wrote what I have been thinking. I do worry about flooding in the spring.ReplyDelete
Same thawing conditions here. Winter is not over yet.ReplyDelete
