these signs must be like the ones where different corns are grown, presumably to find which grows best on each farmer's field. I love ornamental grasses that are beautiful through all the season.
Spring has been slow in coming everywhere"Up North" as we refer to it down here. But we saw some snow when we came through SD in October -- so much I'd be surprised if it were melted already.
As far as I can understand, this particular piece of land houses many sorts of grass, which you can inspect by looking them up on the sign. I have seen such a thing for the first time here (If I'm correct) :)
Looks like it should be "snow" demonstration plots. Hard to believe there's grass there.
ReplyDeleteThe grass is still in its long winter's nap. Won't start growing until the snow disappears and ground thaws. Perhaps next month.
ReplyDeleteWe are having major snow here today!

ReplyDeleteI come back in a month :)
ReplyDelete'Patience' must be the keyword here ;)

ReplyDeleteI think the demonstrators grew up and went.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the first time I've seen something like this.

ReplyDeletefrankly my dear
Very cool sign...or it will be when spring arrives...lol!
ReplyDeleteGrass Demonstration Plots. Yeah, sure.
ReplyDeleteThese are ones I have never seen before. A wee bit confusing for me, but am sure if I live there they would make good sense.
ReplyDeleteYou're definitely going to have to go back and get a shot with actual grass TFG :)
ReplyDeleteLOL The sign is little ambitious!
