Very pretty ... and interesting as we just finished having our whole little house tiled (but it it definitely isn't as lovely as these examples.)
Hi Sally. This is Mexican tile at the McNay Art Museum. It was Mrs. McNay's home and was likely done in the 1930s or 40s.
Those are beautiful floors.
Very beautiful floors! Italian style?..And the shadows add the touch of charm!
Unusual and beautiful!
Gorgeous tiles...I am a real fan of things clay!
Beautiful floors indeed and so colorful! Great captures for the day!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
how lovely the floors reflect the incoming light
I just love the pattern of those tiles ! I wish we could find this type of floor here in France...
Lovely reflections on the tile floors ^_^
I don't know about the 2nd photo, but the first one looks like a church narthex, and that may be a fancy baptismal font...?
Beautiful...and time for these floors to become popular again. There is a place in Berlin that makes such tiles.
High quality Mexican tile is still available. It isn't too expensive, but is labor intense to install. Does make for a stunning floor.
