Hub Cap Reflection

  1. Nice capture. I wish I could keep my hubcaps as shiny. What are the objects to the left of the trees?

  2. Those "objects" are my wife and myself. Behind us is a picnic shelter. This was taken at Oakwood State Park. Looking at this photo shows me that I need to polish these hubcaps.

    1. Now I can see it. I really apologize for not recognizing the self-portrait. I think it's time to shine up and clean my glasses.

    2. This reflection is a bit of "through a glass darkly." Don't think it could be used on a wanted poster.

    1. Thank you for seeing the humor. The "portrait" would be sharper if the hubcaps were polished.

  4. I thought the objects were two archers having a contest. Nice reflection!

    1. Exactly. A pitchfork was perfect for Grant Wood's time, but a camera is more typical now.
