DeleteThese food pantries do a lot of good! We've got one here in Ocala, also, which is supported by various organizations and some of the churches and synagogues. Food pantries become especially important in times of economic distress.
ReplyDeleteLowell, our Food Pantry had fed nearly 3 percent of our population so far this year, 212 families (390 adults & 217 children). Our numbers are down over the last two years, so perhaps the economy is getting better.
