Mobil Oil

  1. Love it. I worked as a summer employee and later my first job out of college with Mobil Oil. I always thought they had the best logo with the Pegasus.

    1. I agree about the Pegasus logo. One still sees it occasionally, but don't think Mobil Oil uses it any more.

  2. Is this a working station or a museum? Mobil has very different colors now. In fact, I see very few Mobil stations in this area.

    P.S. Do know that you're known around CDP as TFG? Pretty nice.

    1. It is an outdoor display, not a working station. And, yes, I will answer to TFG, but then I also answer to, "Hey You!."

  3. Aw brings back memories---I met my husband when he worked in 'gas' station while going to school 60 yrs ago. He worked at a 'Flying A'--remember that one

  4. Mobil in Canada is better known as Esso. I am proud to say I remember those gas pumps from my younger days.

  5. Funny how all the Standard Oil companies had to split up--- and 100 years later, they're all recombining.... Mobil (Socony Vacuum) Standard Oil of New York. Fine looking pumps.
