    If I was arrested for, well, you know, being myself, could I use these for "bale" money?

      Bales for bail? If hay sells for $102 a bale you would need 98, or five semi loads for $10,000 of bail money. But I suspect my picture is of corn stalk bales worth only about $18 a bale, you would need about 555 bales. Better to just avoid the crime.

    Really? I have never seen hay bales lined up cheek to jowl. I thought they were spaced out to provide enough circulation for good drying.
