    1. While we have gotten deep snow in October, this snow is nearly a month early. That will make winter long.

  3. Just the other day I heard someone exclaim, "Thank God for snowblowers." Wait, I'm in Florida. Maybe it was "Thank God for lawnmowers." I fergit.

Saw on the news this morning that Buffalo, NY got 3 FEET of snow in some places. That's just plain scary!

    1. Have friends in Buffalo. They often get lake-effect snow which can be quite deep.

    1. Blowing snow can be fun. The machine does most of the hard work. It's the cold I don't like.

  6. brrr...no snow blowers in my neighborhood, but the snowplows must have been out early on our city's streets because once I was out of the mobile home park, it was smooth sailing. but snow pics I've taken have been from the warm comfort of my home.

    1. My heart goes out to you, Jack. You might think of wearing long sleeves on the golf course.
