Pelicans Fishing and In-Flight

  2. I never knew there were pelicans in South Dakota. I associate them more with coastal and southern coastal climates. Very interesting.

  3. I think like Ed . Strange mix, naked trees and pélicans, I usually imagine them among palm trees! :o)

    1. Jack, pelicans herd schools of fish, concentrate them, and then feed in unison. Smart birds.

  8. That 2nd shot could have been taken in Florida. I didn't know you had pelicans up in the northland.
