That is a spectacular image! I love old house like this one. And like Red, I would have loved to see this home in its prime. It must have really been something.
The scary movie thing has been mentioned but I agree. I'd still love to go through it - there must be hundreds of wonderful nooks and crannies to explore and maybe a few ghosties?
This practically brings tears to one's eyes. It once was spectacular. So hard to understand how and why a lovely place could be permitted to deteriorate like this.
This looks like something out of a scary movie!
ReplyDeleteWell this one would certainly be perfect for the haunted house in a spooky movie TFG :)
ReplyDeleteVery gothic mood here! Your choice of black and white was good!

ReplyDeleteThat was one hummer of a house at one time. I'd liked to have seen it in it's prime.

ReplyDeleteFascinating old house, my first thought was the same as that of Lois and Grace :)
ReplyDeleteWho might have lived there? I like those old crumbling houses and try to imagine its history and the people who once filled it with life.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the setting for Hitchcock's 'Psycho'.
ReplyDeleteA lovely contribution to the b&w theme!
