John, these are views from the deep windows of the Guthrie Theater. They have reflective surfaces at the top and bottom. No photo manipulation was done to these images.
I am glad I came along after you responded to Mr. Linn. I was thinking that these were taken from windows with mirrorlike surfaces above and below, but I didn't know where you would find such a configuration. They are lovely and interesting photos.
Thank you, Jack. These windows are on the cantilevered bridge extending from the Guthrie Theater. I was struck by them where the top reflects what is down and the bottom reflects what is up. It could be confusing.
Trying to figure out what is going on here, but I do like both images, especially as a set.
