oh yes they can be nasty. I went to a park with hubby once. Everyone was walking on the path in the park and this goose came out onto the side walk and hissed and pecked a lady.
Reminds me of a story I read yesterday in the NY Times... makes you think a bit differently about geese: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/10/20/opinion/sunday/are-chicks-brighter-than-babies.html?smid=pl-share
That's a sign I believe. Long ago when living in Texas we'd go fishing in Lake Texhoma...the place where we stayed had lots of geese running around. They tended to attack me and try to bite. Nasty critters!

ReplyDeleteGeese can be nasty biters - though I've never seen one actually biting anyone. Yet. Love the scrolled sign!
ReplyDeleteI definitely get the message here. NO HANDS through the wire.
ReplyDeleteLOL. Goose may bite, coffee may burn, ... I like to collect those CYA signs! glad you do too.

ReplyDeleteGoose may take a piece of you but coffee may consume you. Interesting signs side by side.
ReplyDeleteSign should read, "Given enough time, Goose will bite." :-D
ReplyDeleteInteresting coffee sign.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my signs. Hope you have a great week!

Good signage caught!
ReplyDeleteI would really be careful there! Neat sign though.
ReplyDeleteI just received an e-mail from my friend, Tyler, who pointed out that the photograph of the coffee cup in the desert is by Edward Weston.
ReplyDeleteI remember something like that about geese...
