unusual sign! hmm, that's what I was wondering, Birdman! the sign would leave me "cold"! ha! I googled the business. Probably I could not afford such a store.
Must be facing west. You'd think the shop owner could find something to wrap that handle with - a couple rolls of Ace bandage or Kling rolls might be a quick fix. Just thinking out loud...
But NOT too hot to handle.

It was nice of them to give you a heads up, but it would be even nicer if they put something on the handle To protect your hands from the heat.
ReplyDeleteThat occurred to me too. Would not be difficult to insulate the handle to protect their customers.
DeleteThat must be hot!
ReplyDeleteKnowing how many people miss the push/pull signs on doors, I bet there were still a few burnt hands!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a pretty common kind of doorhandle. I have never noticed it being too hot. Maybe on hot days we aren't surprised when metal is hot.

Hot weather must be unusual where you are. Iike the blackboard sign and sentiment a lot!
ReplyDeletenow that seems like a worthwhile warning sign
ReplyDeleteHot handles?? Is this a trick from the days of CB? :)
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't even occur to me that it would be hot if not for the sign. But I have a tendency to leap before I look.
