Wacipi (Pow Wow) Grand Entrance

The Wacipi is the coming together of many tribal people to dance and share cultural traditions. The Grand Entrance is lead by Veterans (Warriors) who carry the Eagle feather staff and flags. They are followed by Tribal flags and dancers of all ages.

  1. We have a couple of yearly pow-wows in our general area. We've been to one some years back-- Always fun to see.

    1. They are powerful events where people accept and share cultural traditions. Non-Indians are welcome so long as they are respectful.

  4. What's the name of the tribe? That's something I'd like to see once in my life; I like the mix of cultures , men are soldiers in the two ways of their two cultures.
