Good old bridge!
Yes without those bridges exploring will be a lot more difficult for us normal people.
Always praise the bridge that carries you over.
The pic has a real vintage look to it!
Very nice bridge, a timeless photo!
It looks well built.
I always find bridges to be rather mind-boggling, trying to imagine how they are built - especially when over water. Thanks for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2021/03/oh-tommy.html
This bridge seems simply put on the edge, and does not seem very strongly attached..But I suppose that those who built it knew what they were doing..
This bridge from 1908 was constructed by the Western Bridge and Construction Co. of Omaha, Nebraska. It is a Pratt Through Truss bridge rated at three tons.
An excellent way to get from one side to another 💛 the bridge has held up well over all those years TFG.
Nice image. The bridge looks like an earthquake would shake it down.
