An indicator of spring coming? Or are these geese that stay over the winter?
A sure sign of spring. They winter in the sunny south and migrate to the Arctic. This is just a rest stop along the way.
No shortage of geese here but they are gathering for a migration to ?
The migration is in process, and this is just a short rest stop along the way to the Arctic.
It won't be long now before they'll fly away . (As we're back in lockdown here , I'd say that I'd like to be able to fly away too...)
The geese are on the move... thousands of them.
Such numbers!
Beautiful to see !
A big crowd raring to go.
Ready for spring. We've had some Canada geese here, but I suspect those ones are also taking a break while heading for points north, and the ones who are here during the bulk of the year are still on their way back.
WOW! What an awesome capture!Happy Tuesday!
