Me gustan especialmente los edificios antiguos y abandonados al olvida. Hablan de una parte de la historia y dejan a la imaginación el futuro posible. Un abrazo
I think in many "first world" countries, many churches are struggling to attract younger worshippers and congregations are dwindling as the older people die off. It is not surprising that many fine old church buildings are being shut down as they are no longer used. Some old churches here with this problem have been converted to non-denominational community centres, educational facilities and self-help venues, which serve a useful function in the community and which do the Lord's work in a different, non-traditional way.
It still has its windows, but it could use a little TLC. The shadow seem almost ominous...

ReplyDeleteBeautiful wooden church.
ReplyDeleteA bit of paint would rejuvenate it!
ReplyDeleteRedPat is right. A paint job would be a improvement.
ReplyDeleteA nice old wooden church. I agree with Andy and RedPat, a paint job will do it good.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful old place.
ReplyDeleteThat is an old church---I hear music coming through those old walls. I wonder why it was abandoned
