Topless silos are also a common sight here. I always wonder why no top.
ReplyDeleteThis appears to be out in the middle of nowhere which is not something I remember seeing very often. Usually they're on a farm and close to a building. I'm guessing this is for corn. I do remember the sickly-sweet smell these things emit. :)
ReplyDeleteThere might have been a farm here long ago, but it is now on State Park land. This silo has not been used in perhaps the last 100 years.
