    The surface design of manhole covers of cast iron are in nearly all cases very nice and a bit artsy. Nice find.

    Interesting cover. We have some with the Irish harp on them. It pays to look down. Nice one!

    it pays to look down if for nothing else but for security - I know people how fell into the hole because the cover was missing (stolen to be sold as a scrap iron).
