That sign needs picking up - re your comments on my Ackworth blog - all UK speed signs are in miles per hour and distances in miles - that includes Northern Island - in the Irish Republic however they use kilometres but have many old signs that are in miles.
Rodeo arena? Yep- trailers to the right.
ReplyDeleteRodeo area for sure. Trailers to the right; pickups to the left. Birth of square dancing...
ReplyDeleteNot much action there right now!
ReplyDeleteAll quiet now...
ReplyDeleteLooks sorta forlorn.... Great capture!

ReplyDeleteI think that they need a level. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteA wayward apostrophe crept in.
ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely correct. Bad apostrophe, but then rodeo and correct punctuation have never been associated.
DeleteI'm surprised no one picked up on the second sign where a bank welcomes crooks. Perhaps it is too small to see.
ReplyDeleteThat sign is a little hard to follow.
ReplyDeleteThere's an extra apostrophe or two floating around there too. I love finding stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteHa, great shot!
ReplyDeleteThat is quite charmingly homespun.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. I guess it served it's purpose!
ReplyDeleteInteresting find. Looks like trash though...
ReplyDeleteInteresting sharp angle of the sign. Maybe to ensure attention?
