  6. I love the first bear. For years I have been telling everyone that a nice birthday present for me would be a life-sized carved wooden bear, but no one ever gets it for me. If you can figure out how to get that first one to Connecticut, it would do the job nicely, too. My birthday is not until August, so you have plenty of time . . .
