Thank you to everyone who commented here. The first photo is of Sheldon Art Museum on the campus of the University of Nebraska. The building was designed by Philip Johnson, and is stunning.
The second image is at Wichita Art Museum on a glass floor over a display of Chihuly glass. The floor is clear glass and no shoes are allowed on it. Some feel nervous walking on a clear glass floor.
The reflection in the second photo sure makes the person seem very tall. :)

The second picture is intriguing. I would find it very odd to walk on a clear glass floor

The strong shadow flows from the firmly planted figure, which is enhanced by her third leg. Lots of determination exuded here.
