Wow.... you're quite a ways from home. I grew up in New Jersey, and could often see the skyline from parts of my home town. I'm guessing this shot was taken from somewhere in Brooklyn? I hope you have a nice visit.
I've visited New York three times and enjoyed it so much each of those. I'm not so sure if I can go there again in a hurry... I've heard some horror stories from Australian tourists who had to negotiate US customs and they were treated like criminals... Thank you for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme.
Well, THERE'S a change! I like this picture!
ReplyDeleteHa one off the most photographed skyline of the world. Nice TFG.
ReplyDelete...I live 350 miles to the west and have only been there twice!

ReplyDeleteYou are right, Ed. This shot was from Brooklyn where we were staying. Had a lovely week there playing tourist. I hadn't been in NYC for over 50 years.
DeleteHave a grand time. I like NYC but haven't been there in years.
ReplyDeleteWhat a thrilling skyline!
ReplyDeleteI've spent a lot of time there years ago. It is quite the place.
ReplyDeleteBack in the 1960s I spent time there because my sister and college friends lived there. That was a long time ago.
DeleteWhat a spectacular view
ReplyDeleteAn iconic skyline.
