  5. Beautiful photos -- Sandhills are one bird species that makes it to both South(?) Dakota and Florida and points between. We saw some in Alaska even. I never ever get tired of them and your amazing skies set them off perfectly!

    1. Yes, they do come to South Dakota, but these pictures were taken along the Platte River in central Nebraska.

  7. Oh my! Sandhill Cranes visit the prairies around here at times, and what a sight and sound they are. How blessed we are to get to see such birds. Thank you for these amazing photos.
