DeleteThe Cat D-2 was introduced in 1938, and redesigned with a larger motor in 1947-1957. It produced 28.8 HP--38 HP depending of year. It was the smallest diesel Cat tractor, and was popular with over 45,000 manufactured. Many are still in use today and are popular with collectors.
