This aircraft was used as a primary flight trainer by both U.S. Air Force and Navy. It was called the SNJ4 Harvard in Canada and British countries. The engine in a Pratt and Whitney 600hp radial. The SNJ4 continues to be used by other countries air forces as both a trainer and fighter. More than 15,000 of these planes were manufactured by North American Aviation.
