ReplyDeleteThere are some memories, one of my first visits to farming grandparents near Truro was threshing day. The entire community must have been there. Four tables full of pies, and a platoon of boys on burros and ponies carrying water in wet burlap covered gallon jugs to the thirsty hands manning the threshing machine.
