ReplyDeleteI love, love, love this kind of house. Unfortunately, my beautiful wife likes more modern homes! :) As a kid, we lived in a similar house and I'd spend hours rummaging about in all its nooks and crannies!

out of my budget
ReplyDeleteOwners are asking $262,000 for this 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom house. The only problem is the location, it is in Mobridge, SD not a town many want to live in unless they are in the cattle business.

ReplyDeleteThat house would fit comfortably into the West End of Hartford. Mobridge, SD, might have its troubles from isolation, but Hartford's problems are poor schools, high property taxes and a desperately poor city that has a good chance of filing for bankruptcy before spring arrives. Paradise is hard to find.
