Can you believe my brother in law started working for Caterpillar in the storeroom when he was a lad in Africa, stayed with them when he came to Australia and after many years retired a few years ago as General Manager. Talk about working your way up :)
I bet it's built like a tank. I called my old Cub Cadet ride-on mower the "tank". I was going to buy a new mower but the salesman convinced me that an old Cub Cadet was better. It lasted over 20 years with me and I'm not sure how old it was when I bought it. It was not shiny and new looking when I got it. I sold it to a contractor after I learned from my doctor that I should not be riding it.
