Ye olde roadhouse! I'll bet that place has some tales to tell. Why don't you buy it and make a million bucks?
Re your comment on Ocala: Very funny. Actually, we played there this morning and it looked just as foggy. Then in started raining so we only played nine holes and that's why I'm home commenting on your blog! :)
A "supper club" this had to be in the mid-west. I checked your location...yep. Definitely not a term used here in California and I say that with respect. I've toured all through the Midwest, loved every mile of it and will do it again. Thanks for visiting my Friend sign.
I hope that the change of business is for a good reason and not for the crisis...

If this place would make money the owners would not be selling it. It likely breaks even or worse.
DeleteLooks like the sale is on!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope it will be sold soon, an empty place never looks good.
ReplyDeleteI'm not familiar with an On & Off Sale...
ReplyDeleteReally like the B&W image of the restaurant.

"On Sale" is a bar where you can drink on site, while "Off Sale" is where you can buy packaged good to take home.
DeleteGreat, liquor laws in various jurisdictions can be amazing.
Deletehave a nice Wednesday
ReplyDeletemuch love...
Whoever buys this place will probably have to change the name unless it's another Jeffrey!
ReplyDeleteTaken, why do you care if you make money at it or not? You are retired! Think of all the fun you would have standing at the bar and spinning yarns.

ReplyDeleteA supperclub seems like such a strange term - I guess dependent on a locale. The business looks isolated, so i guess a large sign is necessary.
ReplyDeletegreat
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly is an “on and off sale?” Great find.Sorry the super club is no longer so super.
ReplyDeleteSee my response to thirtysevenandcounting.
DeleteWell I don't know TFG is the sale on or off.. a person needs to know :)
