    1. Don't think it is active as cotton isn't grown in Texas Hill Country as it once was. I agree with TexWisGirl, neat old buildings.

  2. I love old buildings like these. Found an old orange processing plant awhile back that was no longer in use. Fascinating.

    Nowadays, from what I read in the paper, it seems cotton ginning has passed its prime to be replaced by Texas legislators imbibing gin in Austin's saloons. Why else would they pass so much stupid legislation?
