Light on Tile Floors

  1. Very pretty ... and interesting as we just finished having our whole little house tiled (but it it definitely isn't as lovely as these examples.)

    1. Hi Sally. This is Mexican tile at the McNay Art Museum. It was Mrs. McNay's home and was likely done in the 1930s or 40s.

  9. Beautiful...and time for these floors to become popular again. There is a place in Berlin that makes such tiles.

    1. High quality Mexican tile is still available. It isn't too expensive, but is labor intense to install. Does make for a stunning floor.
