    I went downhill skiing twice-- about 60 years ago. Never did the cross country thing. Interesting to see the tracks.

    Thanks for explaining the sun dog. Never seen here and also never heard of. And yes a nice snowy path invites for skiing as is here the case.

    Beautiful picture -- We used to cross-country ski occasionally (in Oregon, in our other life). I liked it a whole lot better than downhill, which we also tried.

    Looks like there is a lot of activity in the snow. I've never tried to ski and doubt I would have been coordinated enough :)
