Unusual car lift. Indeed the more permanent one.
At the Auto Wreckers... right?
Not sure why this car is up on this support? It is at a repair shop, not a salvage yard.
Needs a little work. And paint.
They were great looking cars but not so safe if I remember correctly.
This is the car Ralph Nader wrote the book, "Unsafe At Any Speed" about. So this Corvair is safe so long at it sits on the pedestal.
My uncle had a corvair back in the 60s.
I can't recall hearing of that model before.

No, that was the 1972 Ford Pinto. Ralph Nader said the Chevy Corvair was unstable and unsafe and the company knew it.
Wish it was mine.
