The truck is a Model AC Mack, likely mid-1930s. Mack built these trucks from 1915 to 1939. They were extensively used by US and British forces in WW I. I saw them still hauling coal in Chicago in the late 1940s.
Neat truck! Also neat: Charlie Starkweather Blues Band! Now THAT sounds like SF.
