Phone Booth
Phone booths are getting to be quite rare in our environment. This one is special. If you go into it to make a call, the phone will ring. Should you answer it, you will be talking to a lady who lives across the street. She will welcome you to town, and ask if you need any directions or assistance. Some think she might just being snoopy. Others might think she is just trying to be friendly and helpful. Not many phone booths call you.

Tornado Damage
A friend's house was hit last week by a small tornado. It completely removed his attached garage, totaled his car, damaged his pickup truck, tractor, and motorcycle. The roof of the house was also badly damaged. One of his neighbors had a house twisted off its foundation. Think that one is a complete loss.

Sen Tim Johnson
This is Senator Tim Johnson and his wife, Barbara, attending Jazz and Blues Fest in Sioux Falls, SD. They enjoyed the music and the well wishes of many people who came by to thank him for his service. He represented South Dakota in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1987 to 1997, and the U.S. Senate from 1997 to 2015. He did a fine job for the state and for the nation.
